Why inspect before you buy

No surprises after closing

Problems found before you sign can still become a repair request, a credit or a price discussion.

Understand the house

The report shows what is fine, what needs attention and what is urgent — with photos.

Insurance and warranty

Some insurers require an inspection, and new-home warranties have a deadline. Don’t miss either.

Frequently asked questions

Is MegaInspector the company that inspects my home?

No. MegaInspector is a marketing and customer-service brand. The inspection is performed by an independent professional home inspector, and we tell you who before you book.

How much does an inspection cost?

It depends on the type of inspection and on the size and age of the home. You receive a quote before booking.

Which areas do you serve?

Southern California. Tell us the city on the request form and we will confirm.

What is a 4-point inspection?

A shorter inspection of the roof, electrical, plumbing and heating/cooling systems, often requested by insurance companies.

What does an inspection not cover?

A home inspection is visual and non-invasive: the inspector does not open walls or move the owner’s belongings, and cannot predict future failures. When something needs a specialist, the report says so.

Can I be there during the inspection?

Yes. Being there, at least at the end, is the best way to understand the findings and ask questions.

In which language will I be served?

English, Spanish or Portuguese — choose on the request form.
